“You're more hireable than you think.”

“Tanya is inspiring amd motivating and goes out of her way to get candidates the right job…Her approach leaves you feeling positive about your strengths and coming away from each chat with a smile”

~SHARON BUTLER ~

I've been there, so I understand.

It wasn’t as straight forward as they said it would be after university.

"Ok I’ve graduated, now what next”. I was as baffled as you are. They never quite taught us the ‘How to actually find a job’ part. It was the same for me too. I graduated in Media Practice and Theory atThe University of Sussex but I was left to fend for myself in the working world. I had no idea how to write a CV or cover letter that would get me hired. I could only try to get an interview through trial and error. Even back then when the job market wasn’t as difficult it was still a struggle l to get through the door. But somehow I got the hang of what the hire managers were looking for and how to stand out. I went onto have a career which wasn’t linear as I expected and ended up in recruitment roles for ten year. Along the way I’ve picked up many tricks to really understand how to land an interview.

I found my dream role, and you can too.

Several years later I was made redundant by a company I gave 4 solid years of hard work to. It was a real challenge for me to rebuild my confidence after facing rejection and setbacks in my career. Like so many job seekers, I found myself doubting my abilities and feeling stuck in a cycle of self-doubt.

I’ve been there! I know how overwhelming it can be to feel like you’re not enough. I didn’t prioritise my own growth at first, and I let fear hold me back. But I learned to turn things around, step by step.

Now, I’m here to help you avoid the same mistakes and share the most powerful lessons I’ve learned about regaining confidence, owning your worth, and nailing the interview process."

My career path hasn’t been completely linear but all roads have lead to now!

I’ve spent over a decade working in roles that bridge the gap between education, talent acquisition, and coaching. My career began in education, where I taught creative media at university level for seven years. From there, I transitioned into the charity sector, where I spent a total of eight years in recruitment. In this role, I had the privilege of presenting to large audiences, including senior stakeholders, conducting interviews across all levels, and leading detailed interview assessments for senior leaders. I have learnt first hand what makes candidates stand out in high-stakes situations.

In my previous role I was a Senior Consultant for a not-for-profit recruitment agency, where I specialised in recruiting positions from entry-level to Director level, working closely with national and international organisations. After four years in that role I have felt that it is now time to give back to the youth of today. I’m working as an Alumni Manager at a prestigious creative college, helping students secure careers in the creative sector.

Alongside this, I run a coaching business where I help individuals reclaim their confidence and land their dream jobs. My unique combination of experience in recruitment and coaching allows me to guide you through every step of your interview process, ensuring you feel empowered and ready to succeed.

In my most recent role I headed up the Alumni Network for a creative college, writing the 3 year strategy with the aim of increasing the number of alumni who take a creative step into the industry whilst also reducing the number of alumni NEET. I have created career ready resources, built interview coaching programmes, lead job ready workshops and built partnerships with creative companies across games, music and film. Through this I have managed to identify what is missing from peoples knowledge of what and how to prepare for job interviews. I have come up with a simple stratergy that will forever change the way that people approach job applications and will increase the confidence and succes of people who are trying to get the role they desire. I am excited to share this with you.

“Tanya coached me for an internal role that came up. She read the job specification and then spent time going over my examples, using the STAR method. We explored ways in which I can show the recruiter how my skills match what they are looking for. Tanya was very professional and guided me through the process and provided me with the skills needed to be successful.”

“Even from our first call, I could tell from Tanya's warm demeanour that she truly cared about finding me a job that was the right fit for me. She supported me every step of the way, through application processes and interview prep. While Tanya gave me incredible constructive feedback, she was also exceedingly forthcoming in her praise, and gave me much needed confidence before interviews. I believe this factor played a huge part in helping me get the role I was most excited about. Thanks Tanya!”
