Hire Me Happy Coaching & Service Agreement

1. Parties

This Agreement is entered into between Hire Me Happy Grads ("Coach", "Consultant", "Service Provider") and the individual purchasing the service ("Client").

By purchasing a coaching or application support package, the Client agrees to the terms outlined below.

2. Purpose of Services

Hire Me Happy Grads provides career coaching, employability support, CV and cover letter guidance, interview preparation, and application assistance designed to help Clients improve their confidence, job search strategy, and employability skills.

Services are educational and supportive in nature and do not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, university acceptance, or any specific outcome.

3. Services Included

The specific services provided will depend on the package purchased.

These may include:

  • Career coaching sessions

  • CV reviews and feedback

  • Cover letter reviews and feedback

  • Interview coaching and mock interviews

  • Application guidance

  • Action plans and written feedback

  • Employability resources and templates

The exact deliverables will be confirmed at the time of booking.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Attend scheduled sessions on time.

  • Complete any agreed preparation activities.

  • Provide accurate and truthful information.

  • Submit documents within agreed timeframes.

  • Take responsibility for implementing recommendations provided.

The effectiveness of coaching depends significantly on the Client's own effort and engagement.

5. No Guarantee of Results

Hire Me Happy Grads cannot guarantee:

  • Employment

  • Interviews

  • Job offers

  • Promotions

  • University admissions

  • Apprenticeship placements

  • Internship placements

Career outcomes are influenced by numerous factors outside the Coach's control, including market conditions, employer requirements, competition, and individual circumstances.

The Client acknowledges that all decisions regarding applications, interviews, and career choices remain their own responsibility.

6. Fees and Payment

Full payment is required prior to the commencement of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payments are processed through the methods available on the Hire Me Happy website.

No work will commence until payment has been received.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Coaching Sessions

Clients may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited and will not be refunded.

No Shows

Failure to attend a booked session without notice will be treated as a cancellation and the session will be forfeited.

Service Packages

Where work has already commenced on CVs, cover letters, applications, or other deliverables, refunds may not be available.

8. Refund Policy

Due to the time, expertise, and digital resources provided, refunds will generally not be issued once:

  • Coaching has taken place;

  • Feedback has been provided;

  • Documents have been reviewed;

  • Deliverables have been completed.

Refund requests will be considered at the discretion of Hire Me Happy Grads where exceptional circumstances apply.

9. Confidentiality

All information shared by the Client during coaching sessions will be treated as confidential.

Information will not be shared with third parties unless:

  • Required by law;

  • Necessary to prevent serious harm to the Client or another person;

  • Explicit consent has been provided by the Client.

10. Professional Boundaries

Hire Me Happy Grads provides career coaching and employability support only.

Services do not constitute:

  • Legal advice

  • Financial advice

  • Mental health counselling

  • Therapy

  • Medical advice

  • Recruitment services

Clients requiring support in these areas should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

11. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Hire Me Happy Grads remain the intellectual property of Hire Me Happy Grads.

This includes:

  • CV templates

  • Worksheets

  • Coaching resources

  • Interview guides

  • Digital downloads

  • Written materials

Materials are licensed for personal use only.

Clients may not reproduce, distribute, sell, share, or commercially exploit these materials without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hire Me Happy Grads shall not be liable for:

  • Employment decisions made by third parties;

  • Rejected applications;

  • Lost opportunities;

  • Indirect or consequential losses;

  • Loss of earnings or future income.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the service purchased.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement in writing.

Hire Me Happy Grads reserves the right to terminate services immediately where:

  • Abusive behaviour occurs;

  • Harassment is directed towards staff;

  • The Client repeatedly fails to engage with the agreed process.

Any completed work remains payable.

14. Data Protection

Personal information will be stored and processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Client information will only be used for the purpose of delivering services and managing bookings.

15. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

16. Acceptance

By purchasing a Hire Me Happy Grads service, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
